MediAstra continues a vision that began in 1990s in Aurangabad, India, when our founder, Prashant Deshpande, left a successful career in Mumbai to pursue something more meaningful. The first spark was called MediAids, an idea to aid medical innovation, which later gave rise to Expert Global Solutions. operations spanning three continents. He spent a decade in leadership roles at a leading
ADAS Tier 1 automotive company, contributing to pioneering projects like the first ADAS
integration platform, passenger car front camera, 24GHz near field radar sensors, stereo
camera, and 77GHz far field radar projects. In 2011, he established his first company,
specializing in software development and validation, with a unique focus on data-driven
development and AI datasets. Gregor is also a lecturer in software engineering and a co-
author of several national and international patent applications.
